I am from ttc board but am too confused so thought will ask u pregnant ladies about ur experience.I have pcos and was on clomid for 4 months.Then took a break from it for the past 3 months.I am taling metformin daily.My period was irregular bfore but after metformin it was sort of regular from the past 1 year.My lmp was 29th Jan 2007.I did not get my period on the right time.Its been 47 days now.I am getting negative in hpt.I called my doc and she gave me some pills saying that i will get my period if iam not pregnant.I have finished my course of those tablets and yet no signs.I usually get breast pain bfor my period.This time too i got it twice and it disappeared.My breasts seem to have increased in size and the black area around the nipples seem to have expanded.I am really confused now.Doctor has asked me to contact her after a week.Has this happened to any of u ladies?Could I b pregnant.
Really stressed out

hi dinki,

Very sorry about your problem. But i have undergone the same problem before my first pregnency. Even i was in metformin. I missed my periods and thought very happily that i was carring. But the doctor said i' m not and gave me some tablets saying i will get my periods after fininshing them or the pregnancy will be confirmed. But i got my periods after a week of fininshing those tablets. So u just wait or meet your doctor.

Hi Dinki!
i am so sorry you have to go thru this...
i cannot help you with this since i have' nt had such an experience...

but don' t worry, you only have to wait a week more... even if your pregnancy test is negative.. atleast next week a blood test will confirm your pregnancy... ot your doctor can see on an ultrasound if there is a baby.

this board right now has a very few active members.. i don' t know if someone can answer this...
but be brave, my thoughts and prayers are with you
