Hi Priya.G, I have 3 Questions can u please answer them.
1. does bleaching cause facial hair grows thicker?
2. is facial hair remover cream is safe?
3. and last laser hair removal. is it safe? I had a patch test. in that area hair grows longer. i don't know exactly. if it is becoz of laser patch test.

USA Girl replied. Electrolysis the only permanent hair removal treatment. You do have repeat it time and time again and the process is very painful but it is the ONLY permanent process. Laser hair removal is NOT permanent and you have to come back on repeated visits to get the hair removed again and again.

I know this because I got electrolysis instead of laser hair removal 6 years ago at a nice place in the USA and it was a painful process, but was worth the results. It is permanent (unlike Laser) but you also have to repeat your visits but overtime you actually kill the hair root/bulb/follicle you have removed time and time again and after a few visits, that one single hair will not grow anymore. Every individual hair is targeted individually with an electric type needle. They charge hourly here in the USA and 6 years ago it cost me close to $60/hour.

But it is worth it if you find a good Electroloysis. You may have to look around. I had the lady who owned the place work on me and my sister one summer but her assistant was terrible. You would feel more pain and get some acne type abrasian on the areas from her.

Unlike other methods of hair removal, laser hair removal's success depends upon the hair growth cycle.

Human hairs are made up of three parts: the bulb at the base of the hair follicle (which produces hair), the shaft and the hair itself. The bulb and the shaft are embedded beneath the surface of the skin, therefore the hair is the only part visible to the naked eye.

In order to remove unwanted hair on a long-term basis it is necessary to destroy the hair follicle and its bulb.

we all presume that removing hair makes it grow back thicker and darker? the fact is that it won't. And removing hair also will not make it grow back faster.

Every single hair follicle follows a cycle that includes growth, resting and shedding. Generally 70-90% of your hair is growing at any one time (called the Anagen stage). And the other 10-30% of your hair is resting (called the Telogen stage). These figures are dependant on the area. That is, they vary depending upon what part of the body the hairs are located.

At the end of the resting stage, each old hairs shed and new hair begins to grow again (Anagen stage). It is only during this growing phase that hair follicles can be disabled by laser hair removal. so laser hair removal can be safe. but choose the right time to laser treat your hair.
