I' m in my 33rd week and a little displeased with my gynae. She doesn' t entertain my questions and seems to hurry through the monthly checkups.
Is it ok to change doctor at this stage?
mini replied. hi ....i had a normal delivery and i was quite satisfied with my doctor just bcos of the reason that she usd to explain evry small thing to me...like why she is prescribing me the medicine or even answered my queries with lots of patience ..

but in my case also since it was my first delivery i used to ask her questions discussing how i feel that she told me to take evrything normally as it happens with everyone and smtimes she used to laugh at me when i used to worry and ask silly things frm her... but at one point she cud not explain me when i felt very less movements in my 8th month...she gave all reasons got all tests done evrything was normal but still i had very very less movements which is actually dangerous so i used to keep worrying....i used to count the movements daily by keeping my hand on my tummy...

So i think that as the time is close we really start worrying abt small things ..but we must be definitely cautious and keep informing the doctor immediately..

i think u must discuss with other patients of ur doctor....is she doing the same with all...i personally dont like such doctors who r in a hurry..


if the doctors are very exerienced and very well reputed and wrking in big hospitals this problem happens....but dont worry much at this stage..in case if ever u feel any problem that u r not satisfied u can take suggestions from other doctor too without actually telling ur doc..and keep speaking to people who have already delivered so u will not have such worries...

and if u really want to change the doctor why dont u speak to ur friends or relatives and then get the new gyn....but u have to be very cautious while chosing the new one..
