Due Date Club January 2007:sleeping position??
2006-08-28
Name: pinki

Hi all,

Nowadays, I dont feel comfortable sleeping on my left side, some heavyness. But I like sleeping on my right side as its comfortable. Is it ok? Everybody say that we should sleep on LS. What to do, am I hurting baby?

Hi Pinki,

Even i had loads of trouble sleeping on my side. I am used to sleeping on my back.LS is definitely the best position for the baby. Try to use this position only. If not u can sleep on the other side(right-side) for sometime in between. Don't sleep on ur back too much, specially after the 5th month. Its strenous to you. This is what my doctor told me.
Just don't make it a habit of sleeping on the right side. Hugging a pillow or in between ur knees should help!

luv,
sowmi
