I vaguely remember babies in India, especially North India, were made to use a pillow filled with some sorts of seeds (Maybe mustard?). It was supposed to help with circulation and had some other additional benefits. Does anyone know or recall anything about this ???
I was curious and tried researching on the net with no luck so it will be great if you can share what you do know.

PS: Had my doc appointment today and heard the heart beat so am a little reassured BUT still no movements !!! Am begining to get worried now. Asmi replied. Hey Dreamymom,

Donn worry about the movements. I m in my 20th week and Drs told me that I will not sense any clear movements till end of 23rd week.

Highest movement I can sense is like blowing bubbles, but as you know it could be the gases also.

As long as your doctor is not mentioning the words \" careful\" or \" strictly no\" , donn worry about anything!

But please don' t be worried about movements. As a second time mom, I am still finding difficult to recognize a proper movement.

Since we both share the same due date, at 21 weeks, there is nothing to worry. Please wait for couple of more weeks and you' ll find it difficult to keep the baby calm. :).

I have seen my friend using this pillow. Its like 1' x 1' pillow filled with mustard. She says, its believed to give good support & shape to the baby' s head. She has been able to get it made from a friend over here.
Glad to know you could hear your little one...do not worry abt movements..you will soon make it there.
