People are not aware about dyslexia disorder. Nor do they know about scotopic sensitivity syndrome. Hardly any people know about it in India. It is the sad thing that there are only two organisations all over India to help dyslexic children and their parents. Because of dyslexia disorder children are unable to complete their education. In-fact these children are more talented than other children. It is very difficult to children to cope with this disorder without support of their parents. They will be lost if parents and teachers do not help them at right time. Even I was unaware about this disorder in children before I saw the movie ‘Tare Zameen par’ Kamlesh replied. It is very difficult to cope with perpetual dyslexia. First of all the child does not know what is happening to him or her as all the words and letters appear to be moving. Sometimes it is difficult to see a still object in surrounding too. Secondly parents and teachers also fail to diagnose the difficulty of the child. At the end the child has to suffer for all this things. it is not child’s mistake that he cannot study well. This is because of the dyslexia disorder that child has to suffer a lot. I agree with Satish that parents should diagnose it early and treat this disorder as early as possible. Satish replied. It is very painful to see children suffering from scotopic sensitivity syndrome. They have to take lots of efforts to read and write. Every thing is moving in front of them. Some children are remained undiagnosed. The only reason for their disability is considered to be inattentiveness. And these children have to suffer as they do not get proper treatment for this disorder. Parents should try to find the root cause of the child’s disability. Intelligence will not come to them if parents shout and yell at them. Parents should try to understand child’s problem deeply.
