Well hello to all...after a long time...what should i say..yash is keeping me busy...

He is doing well..14 months old now...walking like a pro. He is getting more and more clever day by day...doing well with food also.

We have finally decided for our india trip end of this month.
Since yash will be 15 months old..i do not think the airline will give him a bassinet...we r planning with luftanza. Has anyone travelled with this airline with a your kiddo. If yes please guide me on how helpful they are...and what can i ask them in advance to make the trip easy...We have a hault of 3 hrs in frankfurt.

Also all ..please help and guide me in carryign stuff for yash...both to india and while the plane journey...i am really worried about his sleep and food while travelling ..bec apart from 21 hr journer to mumbai from LAX...we have to travel another 10 hrs to get home!!! thats another bif concern.
So any help or Tip i will really appreciate...

So how about you all...how are your kiddos doing...

tc,kissed to all the little tods...

Hi SK ,
Have a happy and safe trip. I had been to india last march but then adi was 6 months old and i got the bassinet which helped a lot . But now i dont think u will get bassinet . But as soumya suggested carseat will be a good option . But for that you have to book a ticket for him too . do check with the airlines/travel agent about this .
One more important thing..do book the seats in the front row ...i dont know what you call those seats but i am talking about the seats where they fix the bassinet etc...so being in frint you get more space and yash and play down . This time when i went for vacation with adi..even though it was 4 hours flight i had a hard time holding him in place and there wasnt much space as we had seats in front of us.
Do take all his medicines, diapers etc...diapers i would suggest to take less..you have some stores where they sell imported diapers etc from dubai...i brought those last time..they were good..but if u dont want to take chances buy from here .
Ask(book) for toddler (kids) meal in the flight if yash eats all that . They dont allow you to carry water with you. The security people threw away his sippler and flask contents. You can carry his biscuits, cereals, fruits, cheese etc for the flight. Do take lot of toys in ur hand bag..and keep giving it one by one to him..also carry books if he likes them and read for him..
I took the light stroller ...ifound it very useful in the airport and outside..adi was comfortable in it too..
In the airport , let him run around and play a lot..that way he will get tired and sleep for most of the flight later .
if u have any more qustions do ask..
take care..love to yash.

Hai...
good to know that you are going on a vacation to india... I have not travelled in lufthansa.. i travelled via british airways... So i have no idea how things would be on the flight... As far as carrying stuff in the flight make sure you carry a backpack and probably a handbag. Are yo uplanign to take a stroller???Take a light weight one.. backpack was really nice because dheeksha did not sit in her stroller for a long time.. She asked me to carry her.. I kept all documents in a small handbag and carried a back pack with diapers etc..
things you might need for sure in india.. Try to carry diapers from here.the quality of the diapers there is not so good and it is costly too.. take diaper rash cream from here.. try to carry tylenol, motrin... As far as bassinett goes i dont know but one of my friend said even though they wont give bassinett they will give you a car seat kindaa thing confirm this with your airline... Are you travelling alone or your hubby is also coming?? my parents stay in mumbai... dont expect the kid to stay put in one place.. That will not happen .. . hope am not confusing you...try to carry some of his favourite toys, blankie.. Everything will be fine dont worry... He will really enjoy india ...hope you have a wonderful trip please do update on the journey experience...
All the best
luv to yash
bye

I was blessed with a daughter 3 years back n I m really thankful to God for that.It was a c-sec delivery n I was alone with my baby as my husband was posted in field location.n I was clueless about bathing riutals. so I never applied UBTAN on her but now I realized she has too much hair on her legs, back n hands n on face too.
