Tia is down w/a throat infection...I came back from work y'day & had her over to the doc who said that since it is a viral infec. it will not respond to any antibiotics..so basically to give her Tylenol & wait for it to run its course..Its so miserable to see her sooooooooo low..she has never ever been like this..all day she wants to only sit in the godi w/her head resting on my chest & no activity at all...I had to attend a Family Trng. meeting today & came back in 3 hrs..but Tia had vomitted & generally was lousy as before...mild fever bhi hain...I really feel soooooo helpless..I myself suffer from gala kharab very frequently & know how it feels..but to have it on her is soooooooo not fair..khair any suggestions to help her ease her pain ? paddoo replied. Give only lukewarm water/milk now... In fact try to increase the quantity of water and cut down on milk (milk aids mucous they say) You can substitute milk with some warm veggies..

Do you get Tulsi there? One or two leaves of this boiled along with her drinking water can give immense releif.


A hot towel on her throat and chest.

Vicks inhaler.

Give regular sponge baths to help bring down fever if any. She'll feel a bit fresh too.
