can anyone one tell me when to strt Omega 3 fatty acid supplement..right now 'm in 11th week..n my doctor gave me prenatal DHA just for a week when i was in 6th week.. so pls let me knw when to take this Omega supplement..as u all knw it's very important for baby's brain development n growth..so do let me knw... when to start ..hope i might not too late .... in taking this supplement. reply at ur earliest

hi,
well omega 3 supplement can be started right from your 1 st month.A daily dosage of 200 mg is recommended.if you go over dose there are chances of bleeding..so be careful...if u are uin india u can consume Mothert horlicks also...i am using expecta lipil form Enfamil.I got these from USA by my cousin.

The best Omega-3 you can get without a prescription is made by Infamil - called Expecta. These have Omega 3 derived from plants and not fish. It is safer to have Omega-3 oils/DHA derived from plants due to the risk of mercury poisoning from fist.

And its never too late to start!
