Name: ramyavikram Hello ladies, i am from jan06 board. I have a daughter name.. Ritika who will turn 9 months in 2 weeks. I wanted some advice from you all.

Has anyone of you tried ragi flour which we get in indian grocery store in US?? If yes than which brand?? How to make it and feed the baby?? As of now i am giving her gerber fruits for breakfast, lunch i give her either moong-dal rice or toor-dal rice with gerber veges and night i give her gerber cereals or mac-cheese. Any other homemade breakfast/lunch/dinner suggestions?? Is it ok to feed baby dal rice both lunch and dinner??

Hi Ramya
I use my daughter Ragi flour which is avilable in reg indian stores.i use swadbrnad .i take one spoon of ragi flour and mix it with 5 spoons of water and boil it on medium falme .its done in 10 min. i take this out and mic withhalf onuce of formula and feed the baby.
we dont ususally give rice and dal during dinner as its hard to digest.so i give cereak for dinner .my daughter is going to turn 1 on 17th.i'm goinng to start lite tiffins lke idly upma for dinner once she turns one .hope this info helps u

I was blessed with a daughter 3 years back n I m really thankful to God for that.It was a c-sec delivery n I was alone with my baby as my husband was posted in field location.n I was clueless about bathing riutals. so I never applied UBTAN on her but now I realized she has too much hair on her legs, back n hands n on face too.

I have been visiting site and finally cld see posts. Rhea is doing good.Pretty active like other kids.she sings whole abc song and counts 1to 6 (her bro' s impact)
I have been busy since i joined work since Jan ,so my inlaws are here to help with kids.i terribley miss both kids during day.
