1. re: bath..try to bathe Rishi EVERYDAY..like archana said you can skip the oil massage but water bath is really necessary..esp in a cold it helps bring dowm the body temp too..try putting the baby basin/any basin in your kitchen sink ,fill it up w/the bath water..let Rishi sit in it while from another bucket/basin filled w/more bath water ,pour water over Rishi from a mug/cup..keep this basin on the kitchen counter next to the sink..saves a lot of back ache..I think all of us here in USA bathe babies this way..
2. Re; food..Archana is right again..start w/single grain cereal(home/store bought) try 1-2 tbs only for the 1-2 weeks..increase only if Rishi is keen & also stop immediately Rishi shows no interest..keep trying it same way everyday & soon Rishi may develop the taste for it..don't fret yourself too much..but make sure its the same thing everyday..don't confuse him w/many flavors..I had Tia on rice cereal only for almost 3 weeks..first just in the morning then 2 times..but only rice cereal..

Hope your mom is better now..be careful re: falls at her age..her bones may no longer be as strong as before & it may take a longer time to heal...
Re: your milk supply do also load up on milk & other dairy products..lactating/menstruating & just about every single woman must load up on dairy..we loose a lot of it by all our these activities..Here in the USA there is a 3 a day campaign..which means 3 servings of dairy (eg. 1 cup of milk-1 slice of cheese-1 cup of yogurt in a day).
Also try avoiding too much of haldi w/your greens..haldi combines w/the iron from the greens to form a complex nutrient which the body can't digest/absorb & simply flushes it away..so basically the green's ka goodness just gets washed off w/haldi..& I think in Indian dishes esp greens we load up on the haldi..so just avoid haldi in your palaks/methi's etc..(this gem of a nugget from Tapash's bhabi who is a dietician..currently working for VLCC,L'now).
Also today even I'm on leave...working to get my paperwork done up for my tranfer to PA(Pennsylvania).
