Hi all,

Today is questions day!!!! Well, we had shifted our house on Saturday and packing had been happening from Friday. It was raining and Rishi had a mild cold, so we gave him sponge bath only.

With mom slipping and me coming to work, its been 5 days since he had a bath. Is it ok? Do u all bathe your babies everyday?

(Actually its funny to call them babies anymore... I feel they have grown up too much:))

Vani Tweetie replied. I feel babies feel more fresh and happy when they have a bath just like we do feel, but then somedays I too cannot give him his bath and hence sponge bath (something is better than nothing illaiya?)
I hope ur mom is feeling better and yes...time along with hubby seems to be a rare treat for me too...

Regarding bath I think its ok to give him sponge bath if his cold is bad. If not give him a quick bath without any massage to save time. And as long as he is comfortable and do not get any rash due to the heat wave in Hyd(I know about the heat in Hyd at this time beacause I am basically from Hyd) it is ok with sponge bath but don't miss those neck folds and other folds.

But I personally feel its better to bathe him atleast once daily beacause they feel fresh and comfortable. I give my baby bath daily once. If somehow I feel tired any day, my hubbie gives him a bath after he is back from work, such a nice hubbie. But I know its hard to manage work and baby at the same time without your mom's help.

And regarding BF I forgot to mention something else in the other mail. My Doc says babies will breastfeed only 4 times a day when they start taking solids 2 times a day.

So how is your mom now? I hope that she recover soon.
