Hair Care:relazxing my hair !!!

I have relaxed my hair one week ago with a product called dark and lovely , I have used it before but it never touched my scalp. This time the women who did it for me, made it in a bad way it touched my scalp. I felt so hot on my scalp, now my scalp is irritated I can not touch it with my finger , specially at certain places, also I noticed that at some spots the hair ( roots) are very very course , I can feel that when I touch them , although my hair naturally is not that course !! so I am afraid if this texture will last , what will happen for the newly grown ones , they will be that course also ?? or they will grow as my normal hair ?
please let me know if you have experince this before
