I apply 'Banjara' henna powder to my hair once every 15 days. It has absolutely terrific effect, my hair is shiny and silky and has more volume - it has in turn brought a glow to my face too. Here is the procedure I follow :
Use a iron kadai (vessel) to mix henna powder, 2 tsp amla powder, 2 tsp aritha powder . Make tea or coffee decoction (the dark brown concentrate without sugar, of course), cool it and mix the 3 powders using this liquid. Mix well till it has a thick consistency. Keep covered overnight and in the morning , add 3 tsp of coconut oil to this mixture (to prevent hair from getting too dry), apply well to the hair using a spatula or a henna brush. Keep it for 3 to 4 hours till it dries completely, then wash off with lukewarm water but no shampoo. Using an iron vessel makes the henna mixture turn blackish so your hair will have a beautiful dark brown tinge . Go ahead , use a well known henna brand and enjoy having beautiful hair. ALl the best Aruna replied. hey please be careful while choosing henna because many products in the market are adulterated which contains artificial colours.so be careful about ingrediants.donot use mehandi as it may change your hair colour to orange....bye vijay replied. sister u need to apply henna if you apply mehandi means your hair colour will change as a dark brown
