Ramya,

Do add just 2-3 spoon fruits to his cereal..

Initially my boy used to do all fussing.. then slowly i started adding to his cereal and now takes them good.. u can try beachnut products too.. those are good and very healthy compared to gerber ....

hope ur lil one will take everything soon.

Luv ya
Suki

Hi Ramya,
I am from Nov 05 board. My daughter too liked all the Gerber veggies but would not eat any Gerber fruits when I started on solids for her..She would eat applesauce but no other fruits. Then later when I pureed peach and pears, she liked the homemade flavour and after about a month she started eating Gerber too..So just give him fruits slowly..a little at first..Let him take his time..slowly he might like the taste. Are u in US?Did you try gerber fruits? Sometimes he may prefer the commercial brand rather than homemade..Who knows, maybe he'll eat that...these little ones are too smart :)
luv to your baby.
dsk.

Hi Ramya,

My son is 9 1/2 mos. old. He also not used to like any fruits. Don't force it if he doesn't want to eat it. Try it again after couple weeks and he may take it. Also, try mixing banana or apple with his cereal. Initially, start with less fruit and gradually increase it as he develops the taste. You can also buy the oatmeal with banana or apple cereal that is available in grocery store and start giving him that.
Good Luck,
Preets
