hi im' lakshmi priya, a 20yr old. I live with my grandmother in chennai. i always cut my hair short. and we hav a family barber who comes home to do it. 1 week back i wanted to cut my hair short for summer so i called him home. my grandmother had gone for her medical check up. this man has been working for the family for more than 10years. he came home and started to cut my hair. for the 1st time wen he cut i got turned on. i dont know what happened. i started feeling very bad. then i wanted to get ridding of the feeling so i closed my eyes. after sometime he finished my usual style i didnt want him to go so i asked him to cut more short. wen he cut same thing happened. i loved the cutting he was doing. i did not wanting him to stop. so i made him cut my hair really short. but still i wanted him to cut more but i know my grandmother will not like it. shes very traditional. already my hair was like boy's hair. i want to shave my head. i want to see one barber shaving it. can u plz tell me if what im thinking is wrong? im' very confused. i dont know who to ask. friends plz helping me. i want advice. i want to feel barber shaving my head. do u thinking i should shave my head? is it bad? where should i do it? A haircut turns on many people both male and female. An urge to get a tonsure is natural in many people including females. However, social conditioning is such that most females who internal like a tonsure do not confess their urge for a tonsure. They act as if they do not like it. Some at least find an outlet by getting their husbands and male children tonsured.

In your case, getting turned on by the short hair cut given by the family barber is natural. However, do not get carried away and do something which spoil your life. Rather, satisfy your tonsure urge by getting a tonsure in a religious place like Palani, Tirupati etc. Convince your grandma about this.
If you like the experience, you can do so once two or three years. In between you can maintain a good boy cut or even a bob cut as you always have short hair.
