Yes SK, you were right - I must keep trying on breastfeeding...and I am doing that. The problem I am facing that I am not getting enough BM to satisfy my baby, so I am giving her formula as well. Secondly, I am not sure when she latches on, she is getting enough milk or not....usually within 30 min of sucking, she falls asleep and gets up after 30-45 min and looks hungry :(.

Is there anything that i can do to increase my BM production ?

Greeshma, Sowmya , SK - I am also relieved to know about the complexion. I will also switch to some other baby oil.

Greeshma - I have a question about applying egg white on the face - how do you do it ? Since it is quite slippery in texture- do you mix something in it? And how long does it need to be applied ? Please tell me.

SK - thanks for confirming the almond+date paste thing. I was not sure about it, but had heard somewhere.

Has anyone heard of \";Loi\"; - something made from wheat flour. Do you girls know how to make it and when and how to apply it? I believe it is applied on baby's skin to make it softer.

Lastly, I apologize for taking time to respond to your messages....you girls can understand how busy it is with a small baby.

Sorry for the delayed response.. Initially lot of this board mom including me facing latching probs.. we never knew how much milk our lil ones were drinking.. i too was thinking that my milk supply was less coz 30 mins my baby used to suck and after 1 hr he used to cry....

but those things are normal.. the baby cry doesnt mean that they are hungry.. they might have 1000 reasons.. dont ever think ur milk supply is less. if u think automatically it will reduce.. u need to motivate urself.. the more u feed your baby the more u will get milk... almost all moms here still feed BM for our babies ...

U need to take lota fluids and keep feeding as much as possible to increase the milk supply.. ofcourse taking good rest will make u relax and supply will increase..

Suki Greeshma replied. I used to apply eggwhite just like that(Without adding anything to it)5 min before bathing.. Its quite slippery , but somehow I cud manage doing the same..
