Hi 'hi'

I agree with Sunshine. Also, don't get tensed if you come across any info on this board, that you haven't heard of.
It is always good to make a list of questions before you go to the doc for the next appt. And even if you don't surely enough, your doc will tell you about the necessary tests before time.
As for the AFP AND Nuchal, here are some of the websites.

Googling is one great idea to find answers as you will find accurate and scientific explanation on things.

Hope this helps.

Hi \" Hi\" ,

Firstly, relax, just follow your docs' advice. Doc's do different tests for different women depending on their medical history.
Why don't you speak to your doc and ask about the tests that you think she should have told you about. I do that and then she tells me what its for and when it's done and whether i need to go for it.
I was asked to go for blood tests to check glucose, HIV, Rubella, Urine, urine culture etc after more than 12 weeks. So chill.
As for the itchiness... oooohhhh i get that too!! i survive by rubbing baby oil on my body, breasts, tummy, thighs etc to get rid of the itchiness.. seems to help. Else if you're in india try Kalyan cream (ayurvedic but easily available at any chemist).
All the best.
Love,
Sunshine
