My baby has a bad case of cradle cap. So far I've used baby oil and brushed with a comb, but it burned his neck. Now I use Gentle Naturals Cradle Cap Treatment, but is still coming back. What can I use to get rid of those crusty scales once and for all?

My baby too had cradle cap and it was a big concern for me so I ended up researching the ailment. Apparently it is caused because of infrequent washing of the hair. We Mums get tensed (read petrified!) about washing the baby's head and hence aggravate the situation. Oiling and massaging also tend to create more trouble. Try just washing with a mild baby shampoo (johnson's). That's what I did and I saw results in no time. Hope it works for you.
