Thanx for giving us USA moms a hand..that was really nice and it always feels nice to be appreciated na..
As far as cooking is concerned I do it in installments...early morn when Rishu gets up he is in a good mood so after feeding and changing him and playing a little with him I go down with him (upar neeche ka ghar hain which doesnt make life any easier!!)and chop up everthing that I will be using which is the most time consuming. Then in the afternoon I do the cooking and cleaning. Beech mein I come up and do his maalish and feed him and then clean the kitchen sink so that I can bathe him there. When I shower I usually make sure he is in a good mood and never go when he is asleep as he usually gets up screaming!! I try and finish everything by the evening so that when Puneet comes home we can spend time together which is again a challenge as R dear is hyper active then and if we dont play with him he gets angry. In the evenings Puneet usually takes care of Rishu (I also make sure he changes R's diapee twice!!!) and plays with him while I finish making the rotis. Sometimes we eat frozen rotis when I dont feel like gundoing the atta which is a big headache yaar!!I run my errands usually in the afternoons say groceries, library or say if I get inspired the gym...in the evening sometimes if we feel up to it I do some gardening as there is very relaxing for me..bas yahi sab mein life kat raha hain. I do get terrible tired but I guess its all rewarding...the worse is when I get migraines..then I dont do anything besides Rishu's stuff and we eat leftovers or order take out..please enjoy your mom's company yaar...I miss my family so much ki kya bole...not part. fond of the US, want to return to India as soon as possible as there is no life without family na...but in-laws scare me so much..I know if I return to India they will live with us which will be BAD...anyways chalo then Love Reena

Dont worry even Rishu is the same when you say that Radha hates it when you leave the room! He is already developing seperation anxiety even though that is supposed to start at 7 months! I dont go to the gym much actually, only go when I am inspired. Last week when I had gone I had put him on am empty treadmill beside me so that he could see me walking..he was rather amused to see Mommy going up and down!! He kept checking on me and playing..bahut badmaash hain!! For eg he woke up just now and I havve fed him so he is happily singing on my bed and I am writing to you!! bas he will go crazy any minute so am typing FAST!! Will go down now and chop veggies. Will make pasta for dinner today as desi khana banane ka mood nahi hain-much easier na!

Between, does it happen that Lord R (I find it very amusing when you call him \";Lord\";) is awake and you are doing some stuff away from him?? Bcoz Radha almost never allows me (or her grandma) to leave her alone. We need not carry her in arms but we have to be around her. So thats why my question abt taking bath.
Good if Rishu is being nice and not crying when left alone for some time.

I know what you say about in-laws.. I have only MIL and my hubby is her only son (two daughters).. but still she doesn't stay with us (our marriage was exactly like BIG family drama just as in Hindi movies, no it was worse).

Last month she stayed with us for a week and now I am happy with her decision to stay away!
