I wanted to say this from too many days:

I do not know how you manage your babies and homes (and carreers too in some cases) all alone and so well!

Here I am, having 2 maids at home, mom to take care of Radha... are these not luxuries??
There were days when I was home on maternity leave and had not found full day maid. That time I used to feel almost paralyzed.. used to wait for mom to come from her home to have bath!! Started giving bath to Radha only when she turned almost 4 months.

And there you all, almost no help.. still managing so well. How do you do it?

How do u take bath when hubby has left for work and there is no-one at home but you and baby? How do you cook food when no other person is there to look after baby? When do you find time for it? and what about laundry and shopping for groceries... and posting messages on the board too..and so many other things...

Do you have 34 hours in your day by chance? do you have energy and stamina of Superman.. sorry, Superwoman??

I was amazed to see that some days you have managed all alone with hubby out of town, for eg. Sush, Rajashree!! I am scared to let my hubby to go anywhere overnight.. if he has to go then he leaves me at my mom's place.

I really feel like inefficient, too much dependant kid (I believe kids of today are more independant!!)


Truly appreciate the efforts you must be putting, so just wanted to buck you up!

sush replied. Nahi re...its nothing..actually I don't do other things..like cleaning up !..I vacuum only if someone is comming or if the dirt screams to be picked up !!..no dusting for me !..I am an awful cook..I just manage to feed people & not treat them..
I take Tia w/me to the bathroom if I want a long bath..she sits on her car seat while mommy dearest does the nahna on \";chandan sa badan\"; song !!!..basically all my house work is done after 7pm when Tia the terrible rests for the day !!!..& frankly I learnt how to bathe Tia from tips form this very message board !!!..pehle my mom used to do it for me then both of us together & then jab khud karna para to seekh gayi..
but in India too I had to do all the cleaning stuff coz' no bai would stay so late for me ..i used to leave at 7 am & return at 7pm)..I was working at Bandra & the locals used to sap my very energy after all day w/the ADHD kids..but that was my work out..my bhabhi(tapash's brother's wife who is a dietician w/VLCC) told me that pocha lagana is the bestest tummy trimmer...so thats' why I was so shape mein out there...& now hai hai..I look like y'days' atta !..& anyways yaha USA mein I don't feel like doing anything at all..miss aamchi mumbai kush zyada hi..

I totally agree with you. At times when I feel bad that my maid doesn't come or when Rishi doesn't allow me to sleep... I only think of our friends... we are very lucky to have moms with us.

And imagine, Sush has developed a routine for Tia all by herself, where with so much help I am not able to. Hats off to you all.
