what is hot oil and what does it do to hair? afshan replied. basically it is to condition ur dry and damaged or color treated or chemically treated hair. If none of this applies to u then its for the sake of keeping ur hair healthy.this is what u shud do..
depending on ur hair length 2tblspn oil, olive oil works fine.(if long below the shoulder lenght) warm it up. dont over heat it, warm that u can bear not scald. apply to the roots to the ends, focus on the ends. then take a towel big enuff to cover ur hair, soak it in hot water ( not scalding hot) and wrap ur head in it. relax, when the towel cools then u shud apply another one ( have 2nd towel ready).then u just wash it as u normally wash ur hair. Voila.. u have nice soft well conditioned hair.. have fun..
