Hi all specially Sush,

Guess what???!!??? Rishu has stopped taking the bottle at all...HE JUST REFUSES and behaves exactly like Sush's Tia...he keeps chewing the nipple for an hr and the milk keeps falling from the sides of his mouth (like the Ganesh episode!!))) I am SO IRRATE with him. HAve already wasted 20 ounces of my precios BM on his natak. What do I do bolo? Pehle he used to take it when he was hungry once a day. Now he hates it and thinks that the nipple is a teether!!
ANY SUGGESTIONS ARE WELCOME!!!
PLEASE HELP. I feel so restricted bcoz of this. I had planned that I would stop putting him on my breast once he reaches 6 months and would give him BM but only in a bottle so that I could pump acc to my schedule but lagta hain usse mere plan ka pata chal gaya and he is determined to make it fail!

My son also doesn't like bottle. First two months he had a strong preference for bottles and i had to try very hard to get him back to breast. Now it is hard to beleive he is rejecting the bottle! After he started to bf I used to give bottle once a day, when my parents were here. Now don't have time to pump and not even giving once a week, no wonder he rejects it.
I too feel restricted bcoz of this. I used to decline to go to parties bcoz of this but i need some change too. So i feed him just before leaving and we have to time it so that we should be back by his next feeding. I don't feel comfortable to feed him outside. Forget abt the formula he doesn't even take expressed milk in a bottle. Once he was a pro with the bottles! These kids are very smart!
My husband beleives that if he is hungry then he will surely take it. I still have to try that.

My ped says that babies will eat horse poo if it's sweetened and given to them when they're REALLY hungry. She'd asked me to wait for 3 hours (when Kich's normal BF was on 2.5 hr schedule) to offer the bottle. If they don't take, withdraw and offer again after 1/2 an hour...

It was a grind, but now Kich's sorta accepted that he has to..
