A question for all, has any of you enrolled for childbirth classes. i am a first time mom , whether it is helpful and when should i take it. i guess second time moms would know better.

I' m a 2nd time mom. I took the CB classes at the hospital where I was going to deliver the baby. Most of the stuff is available in the pregnancy site itself. But it is good since husbands get to know delivery stuff and understand and help us then.

If you feel comfortable knowing the details before the delivery it is greatly helpful. For those who are really scared to know the details, they have to think and decide. Their breathing exercise and relaxation techniques are useful to cope up with the pain. Also you' ll know what are the pain killer options available which can be decided only at the point of your own pains.

CK Jayel replied. I am writing for the first time on this discussion board. I am 20 weeks pregnant. Even I am looking out for child birth classes in bombay.
I recently learnt abt ISP (infant SSY Prog.) which is basically how to talk to your baby in womb, simulating its brain etc..I am more interested in learning Yoga and breathing techniques to make the labour easier..
To all the momies, a very big Hi!! looking forward to sharing my experiences with you guys...
