Don't worry about seeing Rishi's face everywhere..its ditto here..
re: sleep..well try making a routine for him when you are at home..I did that for Tia almost 2-3 months before I joined..that's how she knocks out by 6pm everyday... I know its super difficult now that you have already started work but you have your mom right..just ask her to help you ..maybe not 6 but atleast 8 pm...infact the other day I finally attended a dinner invitation(I usually decline b;coz of Tia's holy sleep ritual) but she knocked off there too after playing for 1/2 an hour w/the kids...I infact took her to \";meet\"; other kids..the same thing at a b'day party too..she slept thru the cake cutting thing & I had to cart back a sleepy party girl !& it was only 6.30pm...
I make sure that she is up early tho'..& she does it too..by 4am-5am...so basically its upto you..fix your time & then routine-ze the kids ..it isn't sooo difficult..its only us since we have to stick to it like glue everyday the same way.. believe me it works..I bottle trained her too the same way..everyday I used to take her out just a little before she would begin to become hungry & then she would have no choice but to have that milk..pehle thora sa then slowly zyada..

Bringing Rishi to a routine is something that I am not able to achieve at all!!!! He will never sleep when I want him to and he will be very active and playing that you can do nothing but sit with him and play!!! Yesterday he was shreiking till 12 midnight and then fell asleep. No, he doesn't cry. He smiles while making that sound and thinks its \";funny\";. He will laugh and smile so much and frankly yesterday night I lost patience and thought I would hit him to go to sleep. Very early to do that though ;) Got up thrice for feed and I came to office with a swollen face. Its very very tiring. Thank God mom is there, I cannot imagine cooking/cleaning now. Just feed Rishi, get ready and come to office thats it.

My mail problem is that he does not sleep at a stretch. He sleeps hardly for an hour continuosly during the day and at night may be for four hours at a stretch. Aren't they supposed to sleep for 8 hours?

Sush, like you even I get the feeling that I am not getting those motherly instincts sometimes. I really feel tired after coming from office and feel like no energy left to talk to him till 12 midnight.

God give me the strength!!!!

Kich is just not sleepy sometimes and shreiks and screams if i try to put him to sleep.. Also he wants to be carried around \";baby-type\"; till he sleeps... He's heavy, so it's tough!

Please please tell us details about how you broke her routine and started one afresh...

And Dear, don't worry about upheavals.. I think it's part of the being-mom training. I wonder why hubbies choose this time to be ultra-finicky, ultra-sensistive and super-lazy??
