Name: sudha as i will b starting solids for ishaan i ws reading up stuffs which says babies food shouldnt be seaosned nt even salt
is it the case every ones doing it?sudgar i can understand its nt to b given ...but r children eating them well ..no salt ...
inputs will b appreciated

ok ok.. thanks sabitha and teena
again a fight wth my inlaws .. initially all people i know .. who had started solids ... said their babies ref such bland food ..my inlaws says its ok to put salt ...etc ..what a rucus happend wth the ghee episode ..and later wth cows milk ..
lets c what the doc has to say
ishaan is doing fine .. still nt v ok wth formula bt atleast accepts .. he drinks 3 oz for almost 1 hr !!!

Sorry that lot of problems because of salt.I think best thing is to consult Ishaans pediatrician and follow docs advise.that way such fights can be minimised.

How is Ishaan doing?
Initially adding salt and sugar to baby' s diet is not advisable as their bodies cant handle it.I think with arjun i started adding little bit salt only after he was one year.instead of sugar, jaggery or mollases can be used.babies eat food without seasoning also.
for abhi iam trying individual fruit and vegetable puree.i steam cook them and puree them.add little bit water or breastmilk to make it to correct constituency.

I had tried vegetable soup wdout salt & Rishon was ok wd that but in khichadi i put very little salt.instead of sugar i use jaggery.
