Was just curious..how r u all managing ur social life after the baby?do u take the baby everywhere with u?

Good question...We try to take Raghav every where but it is too much work..we need up leaving late and come back early but we have been trying to take him most of the places..
I haven't seen a movie after giving the birth; 2 weeks back hubby was forcing me to go with to watch movie but I am a working woman so I stayed home with Raghav. I try to take to friend's places but again he is very active so he doesn't like to be in his car seat and where ever we go he wants to play and move around so it is difficult..
We have been thinking to go to Canada for coming July 4th week end but again we are sure because of Raghav..Life has been changed completely after having him...

Defnitely there is some change in the social life after the baby is born. And as SK pointed out, you will not be feeling sad about that since you have more fun playing with the baby..

As far as movie is concerned, We( Neha also) have seen 8 movies till now and Neha also loves to be in the movie hall.. All Thanks to my Hubbys Uncles( most of them are Docs) who insisted me that I should take Neha to places so that she will get used to the crowd and will build the immunity( and touchwood, it worked:-)).. Neha saw her first movie(she was sleeping though) when she was 2 months and 2 days old..

Neha had even come to some of the beach resorts with me for my office outings. Definitely you cannot enjoy the same way you used to do before..But when all others go and play some outdoor games, I sit peacefully with my little one and have fun with her.. It is a nice break for me as well as she also enjoys it!!

Thats all for now.. Hope all teh Kiddos and Mommies are doing good..

SK replied. Well...being a movie & TV fanatic and roaming person...it has been difficult.

And ha yest i went to see a movie with my MIL (Rahul my hubby & FIL taking care of yash :-o) ...for the first time since i got pregnant ..because it was my birthday!!!!

Social life difenately changes after a baby...no matter what you think(before yash i used think...it would not be that difficult ..i can take the bottle,food and take him out wherever we go...ha ha not soooooo)

With my in-laws with me right now i think it has been a little easy...as i have been leaving yash with them to go to the important stuff like my office party(since i work from home this is the only time i get to meet my colleagues!) or some major shopping to do...but once they leave hooooo !!!!!

BUT you get used to it...and also kind of love it...i have not seen the TV for ages..and movie or dinner out in months..and i don't care ...i just love playing with him...being with him.

SO U ADJUST...AND YOU LOVE IT !!! ATLEAST I DO :-)

as others were saying absolutely there is no social life. it is so tough to go out even for dinner with a baby.infact sometime i feel iam not eeven having time to speak to hubby.prisha llikes everything to be done according to her schedule otherwise she gets cranky. so i have to plan everything according to that.
we do take prisha where ever we go. she is happy excited for sometime. later she gets bored and we need to get back home.in friends house she is fine but not in malls, restaurants.
i think it is long way to go for everything to be normal

You must b kidding..

No wkend outings.. no getogether.. not even dinner ... whenever v plan for something that doesnt work out these days..

whenever we plan for dinner till we order main course, pranav willb ok.. after that he will start banging the table and later on he will feel uneasy and start crying......

u cannot predict about these kiddos.. long way to go.....................

Yes I take Rohan with me most of the places i go... It's fun...And make sure to be home before 7:00- 7:30 whatsover.

I think it will be easire once they are 1+. May be I am wrong coz' yet to experience that.
