this is sushana. i reside in chennai and believe though only into my 9th week of pregnency, i am scared as hell thinking about the labour. i readd all the messages that was posted and commany came across the lamazee classes. any idea as to where the classes go on in chennai? please help. take care.

First of all CONGRATS for your pregnancy. I know the stories about the pain and difficulty during pregnancy can sometime be very intimidating but dear what I can tell you from what I am experiencing is that its only you who can prepare yourself mentally to accept the baby inside you as a little miracle.

Try to see it that way and avoid listening to all the scarry stories about the pregnancy and indulge your time in reading books about pregnancy, baby & the changes you should expect.

Week by Week pregnancy description book and Dr. Benjamin Spocks Pregnancy and baby care are good books to help you started. So read a lot and keep your mind relaxed and happy. Talk to new moms about how wonderful is to have a baby in their life. I am sure it will give you more confidence.
