During my forst pregnacy i had to be induced as my son was a week late after i delivered the dr told me that i would be induced again and delivery would be even shorter then the last which was then 1 hour. but my question is i changed gyns, she is telling me that i dont necesssarily need to be induced this time i'm confused as last dr told me if induced once the chances are induction again.

Priya,
I am more with your new OB. It's that you may require induction if you don't get in labor but not necessarily you will have to get induced to deliver this baby. There is good chance that you will get in labor on your own and won't need this all. Since last labor length was from induction this labor happens naturally can be longer than last one. It's that normally that first labor is longer but we talk this for who go through all the way natural labor not induction.
