Joined work thankfully w/out any hitches..Actually was very refreshing & frankly did not miss my maternity leave at all...Tia behaves w/Aunty quite well..when I retd. she was listening to ghazals...!!!
I am by the way leading a life of a single mom mostly..Hubby dear is in Pennsylvania for the entire week...
waise where is everyone ?????????
Tia too makes no attempt to turn over..feeling very J of moms whose babies are doing that...
neways....

So gradually you are back to your normal life...and I'm sure it must be refreshing(envy u in some ways).

Noe you must be feeling good to be out and have some time for yourself, moreso because Tia is in good hands and has adjusted to formula...can't believe that at one point she threw such tantrums to bottle feed...well following u and Raj I tried the gerber bottle for Santhosh, he still doesn't like bottles...
I am glad you have such a nice aunty who is willing to take care of tia so lovingly...good wishes to you on resuming ur work schedule.

Congrats! It does feel good to be back in the I'm-my-ruler terrain after i-don't-know-what's-next time with the baby na? How many hours are you at work?

You leave her at this aunty's place or does she come over to your house? What about Tia's feeds when you're away? Is she taking formula/cereal from this aunty? Are there other kids/people with this aunty when Tia's there?

I'm asking 'coz amma is threatening to leave in another week and Kich will be with his nanny alone... Wanna know if he'll have major adjustment issues when they're alone with someone else...

About rolling over - Kich is not trying either. He's happy on his back and in his chair. Lfts his head up when we carry him on the shoulder.. but no rolling!

Okey.. Have fun at work and lots of kisss to Tia..

Oh u r soooo right about that "in control " thing..at home w/Tia altho' she has her "times" I feel I get totally bound to it & y'day I felt so liberated !
Khair..my hours are basically what I decide..it depends on my cases & how I schedule them...like today I'm at home !!!..actually I still havent' got my entire case load..it kind of happens gradually ..
Aunty is my next door neighbour..she is basically a HW who is by herself all day after her sons & hubby leave for work & neways after my mom left she has been my hotline for all Tia related queries..plus she also keeps making these great dishes & sending them to my place knowing about my culinary skills & general disposition !..
Tia is totally on formula (past 1 month)since I knew I had to join work on 1rst & knew that it would be extremely difficult otherwise..
Tia also takes 2 tbs of Oats cereal in the morning(9:30) w/milk & 2 tbs of rice cereal w/milk (4pm)..also 1 jar of Babyfood(Peas..so far) at 1:30 or 2..either 1 entire jar or 1/2 depending on her mood..
I had been otherwise also dropping on & off at Aunty's place & also going out for Aunty for walks & grocery so Tia is familiar w/Aunty & her house..we also had coupla practise runs w/me dropping her at Aunty's house & retuning home to email/clean up & if she would start crying I would rush back..all that actually helped giving me ,Aunty & Tia courage !!
Tia is Aunty's "shehzadi"..aunty has made for her a huge "gaddi" kind of thing and also is more cleaner than I am !!..she also has a box of toys at Aunty's house(Aunty will spoil her more than we will !)..& no there aren't any other kids..
But since there are lots of kids around,Tia gets a field view of them when they return from school or when they are playing outside...the only thing is they are ALL boys..all sardarjis' with more hair on their head than I can ever imagine on Tia's bald patch !
btw did I mention to you that Aunty is a Pakistani...

hi all

why all of u r so silent. i know everyone are busy with kids/jobs etc. but still try to rebember this ip site and we all will be in touch sharing the milestones of our kids.
