Name: RT hey everybody.. i need advice !! The paed has asked me to give Anaiya around 7 oz water everyday.. but my lil' devil hates water.. so much so that she does not even like juice/ dal pani etc.. The doc has asked me to force her to drink water thru a syringe & when i do that she howls her lungs out .. :((

pls help!! how do i get her to drink liquids.. also advise which sippy cup to introduce.. I'm using Playtex but she has not raken to it..

Keep trying

I had been there; Raghav was not drinking water before. He is better now..It took around 1 month for him to accept water. My father made a little hole in the bottle ( nursery water) he plays with that bottle; put it in mouth. If we press that he gets the water; so it's kind of fun. He drinks the water ok now..

Hi RT,

I too face the same situation.. Pranav doesnt take Bottle/Sippy Cup ... nothing for that matters.....

Really tough for me.. Now the weather is pretty hot and doc said i need to give 2 oz.. and keep checking for dehydration..

we are planning to drive down to colorado for longwkend.. and i am really nervous about feeding and solids... he is on BF.. so its gonna be tough for us..

keep trying and lemme know if things work out for u...

hi
my paed asked me to give just 2 ounces of water.try giving from bottle or with spoon.
i give prisha water from sippy cup.i do not know some how she manages to drink from that. i use gerber starter cup and it is a good one

Keep trying...

RT - Try giving water from bottle and see or with spoon or glass whichever works, sometimes they hate the sippy cup flow... my Rohan doesn't drink from sippy cupe either but slowly slowly i am trying but drinks from bottle/ spoon/ glass..

As u r introducing water for the first time keep trying, try at night as well, u will srely succeed...

I have been visiting site and finally cld see posts. Rhea is doing good.Pretty active like other kids.she sings whole abc song and counts 1to 6 (her bro' s impact)
I have been busy since i joined work since Jan ,so my inlaws are here to help with kids.i terribley miss both kids during day.
