Hi All,

I had been for my first scan on 02/08. This being our first baby, we had absolutely so idea what to expect and what would be done.

After hearing the little' s one heart beat my Doc informed me that there is some good news & some bad...

Good news is I was 7 weeks then (now 8.5 weeks), baby is doing good, heartbeat 137 (touch wood).

Bad news is I have a fibroid (7cm x 6 cm) which could pose as a problem later in the pregnancy.

Praying that everything goes well.

Look forward to keeping in touch with you all and sharing experiences.

Hi frnds, i m 10 weeks pregnant and this is my 1st pregnancy...the doc has done 1st scan on 45th day...n confirmed i ve conceived...but i m very eager to know wen i can scan again to kno everything inside is goin on well?

Congrats Devi. This is my first pregnancy as well.

From what I have heard, there is a NT scan carried out at 11-13 weeks of pregnancy to check whether the baby is at risk of Down Syndrome.

After that no more scnas till u r in the 21st week!

According to my experience with Relicord, I will never recommend any one to go with Relicord. It' s being 1.5 years now, I am paying the EMIs, but I had enough trouble with them.

yes Life cell is the best, when ourbabygirl was due in Feb 2011 we shortlisted Lifecell after meeting Cyrobanks, Relicord, Babycord etc. Cyrobanks are thugs they promise you the moon and also there is no indian hand in this company so we can' t rely on them at all. Avoid Beena Jaysingh. We' ve got seriously burnt up by Dr. Beena Jaysingh of Apollo Bellandur. Dr Beena is highly unprofessional and always behind money. She is incompetent and doesn' t understand patient problems and needs. Whenever we went to her for my wife' s pregnancy she wrote all the available tests without even asking and thinking.
