C-Section:after csection

Name: petty

I had a c section in the US and everything was fine. I took no pain killers. during my 6 week checkup the doc told me everything was fine. but after 4 days of this i saw some discharge in the incision area and rushed to the doc. She told me that the incision has torn and as it was superficial she just the wound open (it was around 3 mm in length and 3 mm in depth). Is this common and how long does it take to heal. I am experiencing sever pain inside not in the incision area. There is some discharge from the open wound. Pl give your feed back i

its unusual to find any discharge from the stitched portion.but wot u did is very corrct and shud appreciate for ur presence of mind.chances for the wond to tear open is more if u havnt been careful.like lifting things tht are considerable heavy, walking stiff cancause it..better take care of the wound soon..
