Hi All,

Hope all moms and kids are doing great… past few weeks were hectic and so couldn’t find time to post... so composing a biggg mail.

Here are the updates about shashanth ( he is not shashank ;-) )
By 24th he will be completing his 7th month..

He is crawling and likes to stand with support and standing seems to be his preferred position!!
He grabs attention of others(he shouts “aaaaaaaiiii”) and smiles at everyone
Eagerly waiting to hear him call us amma and appa..he puts everything in mouth including paper and cloth…


Regarding food, I try give him raagi kanchi ,idlie, first bite(cereal rice+dal), rice+dal+ghee+little rasam,potato,carrot,apple…and I am feeding him inbetween.
He is very fussy in eating ..
He says “pooooooooo” if he doesn’t like the food!!!
He likes to have marie biscuit .. I am not sure if its ok to give him ..i give him ½ a biscuit as a snack..
what other veggies and fruits can I try ??

Sleeping habits… he sleeps around 8.30-9 pm and wakes up 3-4 times at night for feeding. morning around 6 am he is fully awake and starts singing and pat me to wake me up ;-)
Didn’t try water idea as I haven’t introduced him bottle..he uses only sipper..

I am managing here with a girl helping me fulltime … without her I couldn’t even imagine.
I have requested my parents to help me out for few months as I am planning to go to office from june. At present I am working from home.(trying to work )

Grishma – yeah I was in chennai for 2 weeks and had a miserable time !! shashanth got heat rashes and got cold and cough too…here in b’lore the climate is very pleasant.y don’t u pay a vist here for this summer weekend..do let me know …love to meet Neha..how is she doing? Seems to be a sweet kid not giving mommy much trouble…Lucky u got ur office near by and got such a sweet MIL and SIL!! Touch wood!! To which company are u working for? And also can u tell me how u make banana powder? Is it available at stores?

Sireesha – how is Rhea doing and what are her recent updates ??

PP – congrats!! Aashi deserves the crown!! So cute!! Love to her ! hope u had the bcg vaccination done for her..if possible visit b’lore ..the weather is very pleasant here..let me know

Newyork121 replied. How are you? Good to know shashanth's update. Wow he eats well; raghav is picky eater. Raghav also gets up many times for feedings. Sometimes even i don't remember how many times he was up. He started saying da da da yesterday. We were very happy to hear that..Yes I undersatnd it is very hard to manage without help...I have my parents around..big help..like blessing!!!

Banana powder will be available in the supermarkets, I think.. I will check with my Mom and let you know the details..My Mom actually prepared the powder and sent it across from Kerala..

I work for HCL-Cisco in Chennai.. The Company is HCL Technologies and I work in the Cisco Systems Offshore Development Center( Thats y it is called HCL-Cisco)..
