How are u?
In ' Do' s and Dont' s' topic...you said that we should not sit cross legged...what do u mean by that ..is it like sitting in padmasana style??

For eating food...I daily sit like that...is it not good..please clarify...

ya even i have heard tht sitting cross legged for a longer time is not safe.
Moreover can anyone plz tell me why is it advised to sleep on left side while i feel sleeping to my right side more comfortable n easy..

as far as i know, sitting cross legged is okay. it is actually good as it strengthens the pelvic muscles and improves blood circulation to the legs (as pregnancy advances, blood flow to the legs reduces due to the increasing belly). ofcourse, one shud not overdo it.

ira, i too read somewhere that u shudnt cross your legs when sitting on a chair.

yeah! i sit like that lots of times too... and i actually find it comfortable..
but i did read somewhere that you should' nt cross your legs when you sit on a chair.... rather you should try put your legs up on a low stool or something...

anyway, i' ve seen freinds sitting with crossed legs(padmasana style) well into their 6th and 7th months.. and they had normal deliveries. dunno what is really right.
