Dear Siri,
Sorry about not replying earlier. I just saw your mail.
I don' t think there is any prob in taking Shatavari and fenugreek capsules together. However, to be on the safe side, ask someone in India to check this out with an Ayurvedic dr.
There should have been some difference in milk production after a week. But don' t lose hope and keep taking Shatavari. Maybe things will get better in few days time.
Is your baby appearing hungry? Only if he is, there is a prob and u may have to give him commercial feeds. I' ll check your messages here from now on.
Bye.
Ayesha

Hi Siri,
Sometimes ladies have such problems and may not be able to feed the baby. But till you r getting milk, feed the child as long as you can as the benefits of breast milk are irreplaceable. And other than that give the baby whatever the Dr has recommended. Just remember that the milk production will stop completely when the baby stops suckling. So keep trying.
I don´ t find time to chat on the net as i have a naughty active son. But i check this site regularly to see if I can help anybody out. So we can communicate here only.
Bye.

RE:C-Section
C-sections are planned when the mother wishes to escape the labor pain or in emergencies like if the cord is entangled around the baby's neck and the baby's life is at risk. But i think natural delivery is always a better option.... - Neeta [View Message]
