hi my name is Udiata, i am new to this group. i want feedback from u all, whether i shd undertake headshave on my coming tirupati visit or not?
i would like to know from the persons who have undergone the same and what has been their experience

i am not nervous for the process or after period. i am just wondering to do it or not. i am from mumbai and work in a pvt sector bank

if u r interested pl go ahead with headshave at tirupathi. You r offering your hair to lord. This is one that offers by us. I hope god will give all blessings in the years to come

srinivas Rajita replied. Udita, I go to tirumala once in 3-4 years. I work as scientist in delhi though basically from Andhra. I offer my hair everytime (tonsure, not just cutting) since it is the highest from of devotion. I had waist length hair first time I offered at the insistance of my mother in law, but that experince is unforgatable. I really enjoy it everytime and what more, my husband loves me bald. go ahead if you have no problems with your family. Raj replied. You can go for a headshave. Need not be nervous Ram replied. Good to know that you are going to a sacred place like Tirupathi, is this your first visit there ? If you do not have any strong reasons to have your hair they way it is currenly you could get yourself tonsured there and make the visit truly complete.. I keep going to Tirumala quite often and I do not remember having returned from there without a shave... My suggestion to you is to get yourself shaved cleanly there and you will enjoy the same, that's for sure.... If you have long hair, then that will fetch the temple more money by means of acutioning you hair, and your hair will travel to far off places like hong kong where its used to make many things... so many good things are possible by you getting your head tonsured there...
