D/All
Just to let you all know that Tia has finally taken to the bottle !...the regular Gerber bottle w/the regular Gerber nipple(3 hole wala)w/the regular Nestle formula..after all the money I spent on all the others !
& now there is another issue...how do I stop the pain from the engorged breasts....I haven't replaced 'all\"; her feeds....but I will have to join work & I won't be able to pump at work...& they hurt as hell when I tried to sleep thru' the nite w/out feeding Tia..
more later...Papa is comming from Delhi tomorrow for a month..Tia's annaprasan is on Wed(akshaya trithiya)..loads of work...

Hey Sush... Great going supermom! U've weathered it!

The engorgement is a temp thing. As ou reduce BF the production will also slow down. Just be patient for a few days. (I had a terrible time wen i came to work inititally, now its OK).

If you're feeling terrible, then express some milk (with hands -pumping speeds up production again) every half-n-hour. At night, i expressed a bit to start the flow and then kept 2 hankys inside my tank top, and slept. Got up just to replace the hanky when it got wet (2 hrs). Now, I am OK.

Well.. Tia'll start semisolids tomorrow.. Thought the annaprasan would be done, they say u should wait till she completes her 5th month, to go full steam with salt.

My nephew will also get going tomorrow (he's on Dec 26, Tsunami baby) and doc has advised boiled potato and veg soup w/out salt.

Oki. Good luck to you, Tapash and Tia for the big day tomorrow...

hi all

why all of u r so silent. i know everyone are busy with kids/jobs etc. but still try to rebember this ip site and we all will be in touch sharing the milestones of our kids.
