Hi friends,

Here in India, we do not use diapers all the time and use only cotton nappies. however I use diapers at night alone since he is wide awake when I change his cotton nappies.

Can I use a diaper overnight if he doesn't poop? How often should it be changed? I use pampers and some say that it can be used overnight and some say that it should be changed often.

I put on one by 11 at night and then change by 3-4 in the morning and again by 7-8 in the morning. Is this ok?

Hey Vani- Docs here actually say (and have read it everywhere too) that you shouldnt change diapers at nite as it wakes up the baby..they say change if absoultely necessary i.e if baby is crying for a nappy change...otherwise not as at this point babies are learning to sleep thru the nite...sorry for being short...just came back from his drs appt..will write more on sunday..love Reena Rajashree replied. Yes, you can leave the diaper on if they don't poop. I don't change Diya's overnight siapers now. Have become too lazy:)
