Kichu got his 14 weeks shots yesterday. He cried real tears after we came back home!!!

He is trying to turn.. But!! I have been told by umpteen people that he'll take more time than others 'coz he is heavy. brings me to the question - is 95th percentile obese?? How much is \";not obese\";?

And how much tummy time do you'all give the kiddies? Is there something i should do to help him speed up his turning??

Is Ibuprofen (Brufen) safe for kids? My doc gave it me and asked me to give 4ml if Kichu feels body pain after the shots.

I've been reading \";what to expect in the first year\";. Its a sequel to \";what to expect when you are expecting\";. It doesnt talk much about Indian medicines and hence the doubt about Brufen.

Don't worry about his weight, if its abnormal I am sure the doc will tell you. I did not give any tummy time for the baby since all at home are against it saying it has to happen naturally. So Rishi did it all on her own. Kichu will do it too, don't worry about his weight, its always good to see chubby babies. Rishi is thin and people ask me if he is weak and thats really sad. He is an active baby, so thats what you should be concerned about.

And one Q, you said you are expressing milk and leaving it for Kichu, are you using a pump? If so, which one? I am not sure whats worth here so please guide me.
