You can also try No Cry Sleep solution. It is a good book but you need to follow it very diligently. I am waiting to try for my baby 2 more months as I will be travelling to India. I am planning to start the plan when I come back. I have heard a very good review about this book.

The other temporary solution is to put 3 or 4 pacifiers in the crib and may be he will find one and be satisfied. I heard this idea from one of the parents in the playgroup. She said it works like a charm.

Let him cry... slowly he will get used to sleeping without the pacifier. Then you could even try to hide the pacifier and let him grow out of it.

Warning: The crying might irritate you.

hello jayashree
dont get afraid and dont loose hopes, your son is absolutely fine, and give him the proper tuition and avoid more playing periods of his, and you should teach him at home when you will get free time.... - praglabh [View Message]
