Due Date Club January 2005:Swaddling...

Name: Reena Hi all- was wondering if you guys are still swaddling your babies now or not? My son is 17 weeks old now and I still swaddle him at night. Is it OK to do that? I feel he sleeps better when we swaddle him. Pls let me know your thots on this.

Swaddling

Hi Reena
I believe it is ok to swaddle as long as the baby likes. When your baby doesn't like it, he'll let you know by kicking it off. At that time, you can leave one arm outside and do the swaddle weaning and later just under the arms.
Diya never liked to be swaddled even with velcro blankets which I just recently bought before she vehemently kicked it off:(

Hi Reena
Tia hardly let me swaddle her even when she was a NB...She sleeps in her sleep sack since she was a NB...I guess its a matter of whatever works go ahead & do it !

hi all

why all of u r so silent. i know everyone are busy with kids/jobs etc. but still try to rebember this ip site and we all will be in touch sharing the milestones of our kids.
