i had prisha's 6month check up today and she is doing perfectly fine..she has little ear infection so she is on antibiotics everything else is good. my dr gave me a feeding plan and i thought i wud share it with u guys

6 am------ milk
8-9am ---cereal and gerber friut
12 --------rice+dhal+veg+i drop ghee
vegs like spinach,carrot,peas, sweet potato, potato.this has to be pressure cooked and mashed without salt
half ounce water
3-4-------breast milk
6-7pm--stage 2 gerber dinner or rice dhal+veg(same vegs mentioned above) and
gerber fruit
(.5 to 1 ounce water)
8-9 pm milk on demand
anytime provide breast milk/formula on demand

do you give rice,dal to prisha already? if yes , is it normal cooked rice we eat and how do u prepare dal for her.anybody else giving dal and rice...please let me know how you prepare it.I would like to give it to yash soon but do not know how to prepare dal for him

pressure cook

HELLO SK
hi dr asked me to pr cook 2tbsp rice+1 tbsp dhal+ some vegetable.after cooking mash it well, add gheenot more than 1 drop bec more ghee causes diarrhea and feed yash.she says babies will luv this. do not add any salt.i have not yet started this for prisha. we have her annaprasna on monday. so i wll start after that.
i hope i cleared all ur dbts.if any plz feel free to ask me.

Thanks for the schedule lavanya.. i have a question.. do u add any salt or no salt for her cooked meal???? Am planning to start giving Dheeksha rice and dhal.... hope she likes it...

I have been visiting site and finally cld see posts. Rhea is doing good.Pretty active like other kids.she sings whole abc song and counts 1to 6 (her bro' s impact)
I have been busy since i joined work since Jan ,so my inlaws are here to help with kids.i terribley miss both kids during day.
