I have not yet brought a car seat for yash. The one i am using right now for him, i think within few days it is going to be small.Bec u think he has reached the 20 pound limit and also almost reaching the top of the seat now.

Have you all purchased one. If yes please give me suggestions...as usaul they are so many and so hard to choose...I have read about these convertible car seats...have u guys purschased the same!

thanks guys..that is helpful for me.

i was also leaning towards britax Decathlon ..somehow i had liked the design..but could not find much reviews on it..is it new product..anyway...i think i will go with it.

SK - My experience go for Decathlon Convertible Car Seat. I think the link i sent you , you must have seen Rohan's new car seat. We went for Tribecca and got it for 249 from babycatalog(.)com ( No Tax, free shipping and closeout sale on that model). I simply loved it so do Rohan. He was so so comfy when we were out last weekend for 5 hours....

They go upto 65 pounds convertible...

In store it will cost you 300$ with Tax...but online my experience was great...So check it out!

I am Newyork121 from Nov 2005 group. My son was born on 1st Nov and I do check this board.

Convertible Car seat:
We had spent last three weeks in search of good car seat. I like three car seats.

(1) Triumph Premier Convertible Car Seat - Stonehenge - My son is tall so we had to return this.

(2) Eddie Bauer 3-In-1 Elite Convertible Car Seat - Mercer: this one is good; little less expensive. It has good reviews but compare to Britax Decathlon little less padding and hard to operate. But it is a good buy.

(3) Decathlon Convertible Car Seat - Hampton: We have chosen this one. Great reviews, good for tall babies, great padding for cushioning. It was on in stock so we had to order it. It will take 7 to 14 days.

I too talked about this issue to my PED.. he said the baby needs to be more than 27 inches height and if he kicks the back seat.. then he might be ready for a bigger one...

as you said, there are variety car seats in babiesrus.. i might go for a new one next month.........anyway till 1 yr its gonna b rear facing.. check with the babiesrus ppl .. they will guide you..

I have been visiting site and finally cld see posts. Rhea is doing good.Pretty active like other kids.she sings whole abc song and counts 1to 6 (her bro' s impact)
