I am Saran from may board. I am a frequent reader of your board and really like the way you guys discuss issues with each other.
I am expecting a baby in two weeks, I would like to know how many of you had their baby's name picked via religious path, like picking alphabet and then searching for the name...
I am in a real dilemma what to do, family think it should be done religiously and I am not sure abt it.
Pl help.
Saran padma replied. Super Bakwaas... All this astro stuff can't ensure that our child's life will be perfect. While picking a name, you just need to think of

1. S/he shouldnt share te name wit 10 other kids in class.
2. S/he sould love the name in school, at 28 years and again when s/he has kids, grandkids...
3. The name shouldnt have any negative connotation in any language (check on the net). u donno which country/state s/he's going to work in.

and fianlly, now's not the time for you to get bugges with this. relax and enjoy your last 2 weeks of \";girl-hood\";. U'll know the baby's name when you see him/her for the first time...

S/he has to go through all that is destined, come what may.

The only thing u need to look for is.. Will S/he love the name wen they are in school, when they are 28 yrs old and then again when they have kids and grandkids. It would also help if s/he doesnt share the name with 10 other kids in class :-)

Now's te time for you to relax. So dont get bugged up... Beleive me, you'll know what to do when you see your aby's face for the first time...
