I had a tough bottle battle with Kichu too. He just hated the idea. I won him over with his fav drink -water!! Tho' the ped had asked us not to give him any water, in Hyderabad, which is excru-dry, i just didnt have an option. He took water from a spoon. I put some sweetened water in the bottle and he started accepting it just so.

I followed up with expressed breast milk. Now it's Lactogen -1 (Nestle's). It tastes OK and i sneak in a few sugar crystals (not regular sugar, but the less processed one we get here in India). It also helped that Kich cant stay hungry for long. :-)

Does Tia accept spoon feeds of the same formula that u'r using? If u r able to prop her up, spoon feeds are also an option (though it'll take ages to get some few oz in)

Kich hates silicone nipple and not really the formula. So i've made te nipple hole bigger, so that the agony is shortlived. I hope this made sense ...

I'v got an aunt who's quite an expert about baby business. i'll ask her too and mail again.

Reading about your getting Tia's ears pierced, i sooooo felt green. I really wanted a girl!

Thanks for the suggestions..Tia takes in 1 oz if & when she is hungry & in the mood...for whatever reason midway she stops it & starts her drama of chewing the nipple & taking in the milk but letting it leak from the corner of her mouth..remember the Ganesh who used to drink in milk wala story way back in India..when people used to flock to feed Ganesh w/milk..well the same is w/Tia..she happily accepts it..& it looks as tho' she is really drinking & all she is doing is giving the grins & leaking the milk out from the corner of her mouth..
I have been extremely unorthodox w/her giving her regular sugar flavored & honey flovored milk but Madame Tia is just too cunning for me too..at this time both Tapash & I have had just enuff of her & are planning to put her on ebay !!!!!...plus you haven't heard her blood curdling screams..my neighbours have already started commenting...and all for no reason..she just wants to be held & the minute you pick her up she stops it like a switch button..so don't feel J at all ..& just count your blessings that you have such a little angel Kichu..
