Another nugget of info...

1. Apparently olive oil clogs pores in the skin which prevents sweat etc..so it isn't quite reccommended for babies...tho' if you massage & then wash off its ok...better I guess to stick to good old tried & tested J&J .

2.Many of you I guess are looking for baby books..baby book club of the month sends out newsletter etc on developmentally age appropriate books incl some fab stroller books & soft foam books for really tiny kids..plus they are really reasonable & cheap..... I got these great Sesame Street foam books (w/only 1 sentence spread over 4 pages !)which Tia can actually hold & turn ..tho' she eats it more than turning /reading...but it helps kids get a hang of it & also helps foster some early reading.

Also, what is baby book club and how do I become a part of it?
Also, wanted to ask you what all books and mags do you read abt babies etc. Pehle I was reading a lot but now Rishu doesnt give me any time at all so I feel dumb and feel guilty abt not reading. I do read the weekly newsletter I get from baby centre,com.
Also, re olive oil I use that 2-3 times a week and make sure I give Rishu a good bath. I was also under the same impression that is clogs pores etc so wasnt using it but have started 1 month back..dont use soap at all. In fact last 2 weekends se Lord Rishabh has been taking a full shower (yes believe it or not) with his daddy. He just loves it! Next weekend is my turn though! Was teasing Puneet abt how I have been replaced by Rishu in the shower!!
