Hi all, Anushya was born on May 14th. She was 7 pounds 3 ounces and 20 inches. I went in for induction because I had already dilated 4 cms without contractions. Doctor induced me at 10:00 am and anushya was born at 1:23. Though labor was short it was so fast I couldnt take any medication. The pushing was hard but ofcourse you forget everything the minute she was born. I had an episiotomy but seems to be healing well.

I am right now struggling with her feeding. Its been a week and I still dont seem to have enough milk and have started substituting a little formula. I am worried sick that anush is not getting enough to eat. Otherwise she is quite a good girl though she seems to have a day time and night mixed right now. I spend most of my time just looking at her sweet little face :-)

Congratulations on the arrival of cute little anushya!! saw her photo..she looks real happy. Happy to hear about your short labor. Glad that everything went smoothly.
Even i didnt have enough milk during the initial days. it was just colostrum. milk starts to come in after 3-4 days. usually comes in after the baby latches on well and starts to suck giving our body the signal to produce more milk. so keep bf her more often. make sure she is latching on the right way. you will surely get into it.
