It's been a long time since I posted a message. Every time I try to post a messg, it says that I can't post a url. I am not typing any url address now. How do I overcome this problem. Everything seems so blur to me now after the baby. I have posted Diya's pics in yahoo groups. You have to sign in to snapfish to view them. Let me know if it works atleast this time.
I was not in town for a couple of days and seems like I have missed a lot of activity in th e boards. Diya is going to be 3 months old tomm. She smiles a lot and responds back to me just like Rishu and Megha. She used to coo a lot before and now she is trying to but doesn't get it easily. She keeps looking at her hands all the time and her sole goal in life seems to be putting her hands in her mouth. She loves music and mirrors. She hated tummy time until 2 days ago and yesterday when I put her on her tummy, she loved it. Try putting a mirror in front of them or lay down in front and talk at their eye level. She wants to roll to her sides like Rishi but is not able to do that really.
Komal, I saw Megha's snaps. She is a cutie pie. I love how you made an album like a story of her day. You rock Komal! She seems like a very calm and happy baby.
Reena, I would love to see Rishu's snaps. I am already a member of ofoto. Could you please send the link at vidyaramesh@gmaildotcom ? Seems like he is getting better these days with sleep. Is he feeding better. I read that you shouldn't use very old BM stored in the freezer because the body produces BM according to the child's needs at a certain time. It could be old wives tales.
Tia ki ma, how are you doing with the bottle battle. Diya used to take her ottle and formula very well previously. I stopped formula becos she was very gassy one day and then now she only wants BM and preferably from Mom directly. I am trying to give her a bottle of BM occassionally. I have to start formula too once in a while I guess becos it is difficult to give BM while travelling in the car/public places. She cried her heart out while we were trying to feed formula in a restaurant while waiting to be seated. I had to nurse her finally with a blanket. She kkeeps pulling the blanket every now and then. You must have seen my plight at that time. I was just holding on to the blanket like that was my life:) Like what Reena said,Diya will not sleep in a stroller like Tia or Megs. I have to pat her and only then she goes to sleep. Kudos to you and Tia.
Vani, Loved Rishi's pics. He looks very much like you and I loved the nose ring. He looks like a boy boy now. Hope you and Rishi are having a good time with Shyam now.
PK, sad to know that Smriti is having cracks in the skin. Diya has a lot of milk deposit there and I believe if they smell, it could be yeast infection. Her's does smell now and then. The key is to wipe it after a bath. She will never let me do that and I put her on her tummy now to clean it. Is she better in the daytime now? Diya sleeps good in the night time mostly. But mornings, she will only take a 45 min nap. She gets cranky after that small nap and she wants to sleep, but she cannot sleep at that time.
Tweetie, good to hear from you. I was getting worried that you were not writing at all. It must have been bad to manage Santosh with the flu. Glad that u are feeling better. Don't worry about Santosh being bad becos he is a boy. Diya does it during her nap times too. I have read every sleep book in the world now to conquer her sleep problems and looks like time is the only solution for that. I used to put Diya in her changing pad and shake that pad on my legs to put her to sleep. Then, I'll put the pad in the bed or her crib. Now she sleeps good in her crib. I have to pat her on my shoulders to put her to sleep though. When I am in a store or something, she will not fall asleep in her stroller or carseat on her own until I pat her or give her my finger. She knows how to put her finger in the mouth. she'll do it in her sleep but not when she is awake. Madam has a gourmet taste. Don't worry about being a good mom and all from your inlaws. It is hard as it is and even a stranger tells me how to be a good mom these days and I get so irritated. CAn never be a good mom in other's eyes I guess.
Chaya, I saw Vaishu's pics. She looks very cute and I think she looks like you. I loved her smiles.
Maurni, Vrisa is so adorable. When was she born? I missed the boards during the delivery and I don't know how old Vaishu and Vrisa are.

maurni replied. Thanks. Vrisa is 14 weeks old today. She's a really naughty little girl. Bilkul apne papa ke jaise ;-). Always coming up with new nakhres everyday. Don't know if you gotmy message about your little angel. Totally adorable! I have been really bad at keeping up with my postings here. Vrisa is more awake during the day now and needs a lot of attention so I try to do things with her during the day and by the time I have put her to bed at night, I am totally pooped! Hope all is going well with you. My health has been a little freaky. My brother always joked that Vrisa is a parasite that is loved more than life itself. I got so many health issues when I was pregnant with her and after she was born that I never had before. My cholestrol was really high and I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism which is now gone. Wierd!

I have fed Tia in the fitting rooms of Macy's..according to the rule book no plce can stop you from doing it..request for a cubicle which has a sitting place ..it was disconcerting tho' to catch the action w/a full length mirror in front !!
