Hey All,
I'm in my 19th week.. today i felt a pang of pain around my belly button area.. it was short lived and subsided within a few seconds...
could this be the baby kicking? i'm confused.. coz i've never felt it before...

Hey Guys,

Thanks...
but i still don't know if its really the baby kicking or is it gas as Hermy says.
But whatever it is.. I hope we all start feeling our babies soon... Amen!

Everything has been going on pretty okay with me till now (touch wood).. 'jus that sometimes i cant sleep too comfortably coz of the weight around my tummy... does this happen to any of you guys?

Anyways, how'r things with you all?

Luv n Luc,
Manvi

No sowmi dear...
I guess u wud just have to get used to sleeping on ur sides.. n mostly on the Left.. as that provides better oxygen do the baby...
even i didnt do too well with it beginning.. but now i'm getting kinda used to it...
try keeping a soft pillow/thin cushion just under ur belly when u sleep on the side.. that wud provide support to ur tummy without letting it hang loose..
Also, for all other times during the day, when ur sitting, try giving ample support to ur back.. that way ur back wont feel too tired at night..
try this n lemme know if it helps..

good luck,
Manvi

Even i have some problems while sleeping. I am so used to sleeping on my back. I find it difficult to sleep on my side as is recommended. Any remedies for this?

Hi Manvi,

I am in my 17th week. Last 4 days I have been feeling some butterflies in my left side tummy.. Maybe baby is trying to move. But dont know for sure. Some say it might be gas. Should wait for some more time for the kicks. :)

Take care
Hermione
